Terms of Service

Last updated: 28 April 2026

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using HymnDeck, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the service.

2. Operator and Contact

HymnDeck is operated by Juan Miguel Sanchez, a sole trader based in England, United Kingdom. You can contact HymnDeck at support@hymndeck.app.

3. Description of Service

HymnDeck helps users convert song sheets, worship service text, and related content into formatted presentation files using automation and AI-assisted parsing. The service may include content import, editing, design, saved decks, generated song sheets, and presentation export features.

4. Accounts and Organisations

  • You must provide accurate account information and keep your account secure.
  • You are responsible for activity under your account and for users you invite to an organisation or workspace.
  • Organisation owners are responsible for managing membership, billing access, and use of shared content within their organisation.
  • You must notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

5. Your Content and Generated Output

  • You retain ownership of content you upload, import, paste, save, or create in HymnDeck.
  • Subject to any rights held by others, you own the presentations and other output generated for you through HymnDeck.
  • You grant HymnDeck a limited licence to host, copy, process, transform, store, and display your content only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service.
  • You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights and permissions needed for lyrics, song sheets, images, templates, fonts, church branding, and any other material you use with HymnDeck.

6. AI Output and Review

HymnDeck uses AI-assisted processing. AI output may contain mistakes, omissions, formatting issues, or inaccurate interpretations of the content you provide. You are responsible for reviewing generated slides, lyrics, attributions, copyright notices, and presentation content before using them publicly.

7. Acceptable Use

  • You must not use HymnDeck for unlawful, harmful, abusive, deceptive, or infringing activity.
  • You must not upload content that you do not have permission to use.
  • You must not interfere with the security, availability, or proper operation of the service.
  • You must not attempt to bypass usage limits, access controls, or billing restrictions.

8. Paid Plans, Billing, and Cancellation

HymnDeck may offer paid plans. Prices, included features, and usage limits will be shown at checkout or on the pricing page. If you subscribe to a paid plan, you authorise our billing provider to charge the payment method you provide for recurring fees, taxes, and any applicable charges.

Billing may be handled by Lemon Squeezy or another payment provider. Your payment details are processed by the payment provider, not directly by HymnDeck. You can cancel a subscription through the billing portal or by contacting support@hymndeck.app.

Unless stated otherwise at checkout or required by law, fees already paid are not automatically refundable. Refund requests may be reviewed case by case. If a payment fails, access to paid features may be suspended, downgraded, or cancelled.

9. Third-Party Services

HymnDeck relies on third-party services including Google Drive, Google Firebase, OpenRouter, Google Gemini, Vercel, Google Cloud, Neon, and billing providers. These services may be subject to their own terms and policies. HymnDeck is not responsible for third-party services outside our control.

10. Suspension, Termination, and Deletion

We may suspend or terminate access to HymnDeck if you breach these Terms, misuse the service, create legal risk, fail to pay applicable fees, or use the service in a way that may harm HymnDeck or others.

You can request deletion of your account and associated saved content by contacting support@hymndeck.app. Some limited records may be retained where required for legal, tax, accounting, security, or dispute purposes.

11. Disclaimers

HymnDeck is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or suitable for every church, event, use case, file, or presentation requirement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HymnDeck will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, or business opportunity arising from your use of or inability to use the service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or mandatory consumer rights.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence apply. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction over disputes relating to these Terms, subject to any mandatory rights you may have as a consumer.

14. General Terms

If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining parts will continue in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any plan-specific terms shown at checkout, form the agreement between you and HymnDeck for use of the service.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as HymnDeck changes. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users. Continuing to use HymnDeck after updated Terms take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
